Jaryd only agreed to move in with Mel after she received a dishwasher as a 30th birthday gift. Fortunately, this was only two months after their relationship became FB official.

Mel got caught up fetching Natalie from a gender reveal, leaving Jaryd to fend for himself for an hour with around 12 (at the time) strangers of Mel’s friends on their second date. Needless to say, he survived & we’re all friends now.

Thanks to 83 mutual friends on Facebook, and a random friend request later, the rest was history.

We Fell In Love

Our first official date was Valentine’s Day of 2021. Sometime thereafter, Mel found herself squeezing Jaryd’s hand three times. Little did she know this was a subtle way of saying “I Love You”. Something we still do to this day. We officially exchanged the words in April 2021.

A Clarence holiday disguised as a celebration for Chase’s birthday. After a long hike to the waterfall and a huge surprise later, Jaryd proposed.

We’re thrilled to have you join us for our special day! To ensure everyone feels comfortable and elegant, we kindly request that you adhere to our formal dress code. Our wedding theme is all about timeless elegance, and we’d love for you to be a part of it.

🕴️ For Gentlemen:
Please wear a classic suit or tuxedo in neutral or dark tones, such as blue, black, beige, brown, navy, charcoal, or grey. A crisp white dress shirt and a tie or bowtie (optional) will complete your dapper look. Don’t forget to shine those dress shoes!

💃 For Ladies:
Opt for formal evening attire, like a long gown, cocktail dress, or a stylish pantsuit. We request that you avoid black, bright or neon colours and sequins, as we aim for a more subdued and elegant ambiance. Subtle pastels and jewel tones are a great choice!

We understand that dressing appropriately for a wedding can be a bit of a puzzle, but we appreciate your effort in making our day even more special. Let’s create beautiful memories together in style!
